An established Indian restaurant in Ballarat is looking to employ a qualified Indian Cook to work in a busy kitchen with an Ambition to succeed.
The ideal Candidate will be paid the Market salary remuneration of $54000 plus super per year
To be considered for this role you must have the Knowledge and the ability to perform the following tasks which include Seasoning and Preparing quality Indian Dishes (veg & non veg) including Rice & Roti and other recipes.
Checking the quality of food to ensure restaurant standards are maintained.
Portioning food and presentation Preparing food with special dietary requirements.
Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills etc Storing food at the ideal temperatures
Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills
The candidate should have Completed Australian Qualifications in certificate III and IV in commercial cooking, preferably with in the last 2 years and have Knowledge in preparing, cooking and serving
Onshore experience of working in a busy Indian kitchen preferred
The candidate also needs to work Day time or Evening times or both including week ends
