IT Systems Administrator
Full Time – Fixed Term (4 year contract)
(80 hours per fortnight including ADO)
The Information Technology department has an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our busy team.
This role has responsibility for administering and maintaining application, database, web, file and print servers as well as general operation of core health applications.to ensure system potential is maximised, organisational and user needs are met and systems are aligned with the wider information technology strategy.
The successful candidate will have 7+ years experience ideally within the health care industry and possess tertiary qualifications in either IT, Computer Science or a computer systems engineering discipline whilst having excellent analytical and problem solving skills. You will require experience with Microsoft Windows environments including Active Directory, Exchange, SQL and other core infrastructure systems along with the ability to work in a team environment and have excellent communication skills. Qualifications and/or experience in VMWare/Hyper-V platforms, Storage Area Network Technology and network infrastructure will be highly regarded.
