Hepburn Health Service is seeking a Maintenance Officer for the Trentham Campus. The Maintenance Officer reports to the Manager Infrastructure and Fleet and must work within the HHS policies and procedures ensuring day to day duties are performed to facilitate the smooth running of engineering operations, including scheduling of breakdown, preventative and minor works. The position requires demonstrated initiative, creativity and a high level of organisational skills.
Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated knowledge of health facility cleaning procedures
- Demonstrated knowledge of routine vehicle maintenance
- Demonstrated experience in routine gardening and building maintenance
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Must be physically fit
- A knowledge of health and safety principles as per Occupational Health and Safety Act 2010
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
