Social Worker – Grade 1 or 2
Ballarat Health Services Social Work Department are seeking enthusiastic Grade 1 or 2 Social Workers who demonstrate excellent communication skills, exhibit ethical and professional responsibility and are keen to maintain their skills and knowledge in an exciting work environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Social Worker wanting to be challenged through responding to the diverse needs of the community. This role also support participation in department quality and learning activities.
– Ability to adapt, be flexible and learn quickly
– Ability to work within a fast paced environment whilst maintaining a professional manner
– Ability to plan and problem solve
– Demonstrated sound knowledge in Social Work theory and practice skills
– Some knowledge of working in acute/sub-acute environments (via clinical placement would be desirable)
– Bachelor/Master of Social Work degree and eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers.
