Ballarat Health Services is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Health Assistant at Talbot Place.

Talbot Place is an Aged Care Facility located in the heart of Ballarat and is home to 30 residents. We are passionate about providing
individualised care to each resident in line with Best Practice Guidelines. Being part of a team that values Leadership and Excellence
in Health care, you will work in first class facilities that maximises care, compassion, individual choice and quality outcomes for all
residents living in our home.

As the Health Assistant, your role will be inclusive of personal care, diversional therapy and general housekeeping.

Successful applicants will possess a high degree of flexibility and a willingness to learn and must demonstrate competence in the
following behaviours and qualifications:


Initiating Action
Managing Work (including Time Management)
Work Standards
Stress Tolerance


Care Management Certificate III or IV in Residential Aged Care
Successful attainment of CHCCS305C – Assist Clients with Medication
Successful attainment of HLTFS207C – Follow Basic Food Safety Practices

We are looking for a person with a passion for aged care, a strong focus on person centred care and who can demonstrate an ability to
