Personal Care Worker
Fixed Term Part-time
(22hrs per fortnight until 22/4/21 reducing to 8hrs per fortnight until 01/07/21)
Ballarat Health Services is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant at Eureka Village. The 22 year old facility has capacity for 45 residents throughout three smaller communal living spaces whereby all bedrooms are singular with ensuites. Eureka Village prides itself on supporting residents to live the way they wish and empower everyone to support a community of kindness.
Successful applicants will possess a high degree of flexibility and a willingness to learn and must demonstrate competence in the following behaviours and qualifications:
Managing Work (including Time Management)
Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
Successful attainment of HLTHPS006 – Assist Clients with Medication
Successful attainment of HLTFSE001 – Follow Basic Food Safety Practices
Working within a multidisciplinary team you will be expected to facilitate and foster best practise and service delivery to our clients and their families.
