Enthusiastic and experienced Social Workers are sought to provide Social Work services to Specialist Clinics at Ballarat Health Services (Paediatrics, Cancer Care and Diabetes). Primary responsibilities include advanced clinical skills and passion for improving access and health outcomes for people in our region. Sound knowledge and experience in undertaking comprehensive psychosocial assessments, well-developed communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work well in pursuit of patient and team needs/goals is required. Experience or transferrable skills in child/family work and chronic disease would be a highly regarded attribute.

There is excellent support from within the Senior and broader Social Work team. Professional development is supported through regular in-service education, supervision in line with AASW requirements and the ability to attend continuing education where appropriate.
