An enthusiastic and experienced Social Worker is sought to provide perinatal Mental Health Social Work Services in the Mother and Family Unit of Ballarat Health Services.
Primary clinical responsibilities require a sound knowledge and experience in undertaking perinatal mental health psychosocial assessments, recovery-orientated practice, individual and group work requiring well developed communication skills and the ability to work well in the pursuit of patient and team needs and goals. Experience in working in perinatal mental health inpatient or community based services would be a highly regarded attribute.

There is excellent support from within the perinatal community mental health team. Professional development is supported, supervision in line with AASW requirements and the ability to attend continuing education where appropriate.
