Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM)
Fixed – Part Time
48 hrs per fortnight
Ballarat Health Services is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse (Division 1) to join our team as a as an ANUM and work in the GEM unit.
The GEM unit is a 20 bed unit that specialises in caring for patients with thinking and memory problems and complex medical and social issues. We are located on the sub-acute site of Ballarat Health Services. Our care is delivered by a dedicated, patient centred multidisciplinary team.
The successful applicant will have previous experience of at least 5 years working in a ward, and it is desirable that you will possess or be working towards completion of a Managerial Qualification.
You will be able to work collaboratively and consultatively as part of a multidisciplinary team, have demonstrated leadership ability and have a clear understanding of the managerial responsibilities of an Associate Nurse Unit Manager.
Working within a multidisciplinary team you will be expected to facilitate and foster best practise and service delivery to our clients and their families within the GEM unit, and be able to demonstrate the ability to work within the values of the organisation: Teamwork, Respect, Accountability and Compassion.
