About the role

In this important role, you will work with families from 8 weeks to several month time period, with the main aim of achieving family preservation and reunification. Working across both the Families First & Keeping Families Together programs you will provide comprehensive assessment and intensive short term service aimed at strengthening the ability of families to protect and care for their children that are involved with Child Protection.

As the Advanced Practitioner you will work closely with the Team Leader and team by applying your specialised knowledge, guidance, advice and recommendations through your experience and practice. You will assist the Team Leader to support the team in the delivery of a high quality, responsive and effective service within a strong and professional risk assessment framework.


Degree in Social Work, Welfare Studies or their equivalent, or other tertiary qualification appropriate to public welfare practice.
