The role

Your role will help us evolve our team and advance our industry with a single-minded aim – to create a safer, more connected, more efficient, and more profitable world for our customers. One-hour drive away from Melbourne, located in Ballarat technology park with close access to nearby cafes and facilities.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Human Resources Coordinator, your role is to:

Training skillset

  • Coordinate the development of online learning modules through Moodle to develop training products and guides
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to organize remote training workshops
  • Support training activities through scheduling and administration
  • Facilitate the supervision of our trainee program
  • Maintain training records and data entry

Administrative skill set:

  • Administer HR-related documentation as required
  • Room bookings on campus as required
  • Replenish resources as needed
  • Data entry and filing as needed
  • Additional HR tasks as directed by the HR Coordinator

About you

Education and experience

  • Experience with the Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) is highly desirable
  • Experience facilitating classroom-based training in a corporate environment, or related experience in a military training environment required
    CERT IV / Diploma in Training and Assessment, or experience in a related field
  • 4+ years’ experience in a Learning and Development position with responsibility for administration or facilitation of training
  • Technical aptitude, comfortable using and willingness to learn new technology to leverage digital applications and media platforms
  • Training administration experience including scheduling, data entry, and record retention.

Soft skills

  • The ability to juggle competing priorities; while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with a variety of stakeholder groups
  • Proven capacity to work to a high standard and display initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet critical deadlines
