Permanent Part Time
72 hours per fortnight, includes weekend shifts
This role will be responsible for ensuring the preparation and supply of meals for Acute, Aged Care and Meals on Wheels. Responsibilities include the ordering of provisions in accordance with the approved menu, supervision of the Kitchen Hand on duty, and liaison with other kitchen staff to ensure that the kitchen operates according to the set guidelines.
Key Selection Criteria
Must hold a trade qualification
Proven ability to meet deadlines goals/objectives
Sound appreciation of key concepts of food safety principles, occupational health & safety principles and quality assurance
Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to Quality Improvement and Best Practice
Knowledge of Food Safety documentation requirements
A current and satisfactory National Police Record Check must be presented or arranged at the time of commencement and three yearly thereafter.
