We are a family owned and ran boutique financial planning practice based in Ballarat, Victoria. We provide financial and lifestyle advice and services with a personal, local & attentive approach. We help businesses and individuals to prosper and help them meet their financial and lifestyle goals through providing focus and direction.

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, self-motivated, confident and committed full time Receptionist/Financial Planning Administrator to support our productive, committed and client-focused team. You will be kept busy with our business and personal clients and therefore require you to be extremely organised with excellent attention to detail. You’ll be the first point of contact for our business, creating a welcoming environment for our clients as well as supporting our Advisers and Client Services team. You will have a hunger to learn, take initiative, have a positive attitude and the ability to work closely with a small team and great team culture. We work hard but enjoy working together and with our valued clients.

Key duties including (but not limited to):

* Financial Planning Administration and offering support to our senior staff and financial planners

* Being a first point of contact for the business

* Administration support to Advisers and Client Services team

* Welcoming clients

* Incoming and outgoing client contact including confirming client appointments

* Maintaining office amenities and ensuring office is clean and presented well

Desired skills & experience:

* Excellent telephone manner, communication skills and customer service

* Excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and identify process improvement

* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to interact positively

* Ability to work autonomously with good time management and proactive approach

* Discretion in relation to confidential information

* Excellent written and communication skills

* Strong organisational and administrative skills, including an ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and manage a varied workload, in a busy professional environment
